God in You
Ephesians 3:14-21

Two of the most popular themes in our world are power and love. Perhaps as many as two-thirds of the novels, poems and films ever written have addressed these subjects. The power of love has driven weak people to do powerful things. And it is not uncommon for powerful people to do foolish things out of love. The forces of power and love shape our lives, our homes, our countries, and our world...But the only way these two themes get properly woven together and expressed appropriately is through prayer.

    Live Joyfully and Confidently
    Ephesians 1:15-23

Many people long for a stroke of good luck, a new beginning, a chance to live differently. They yearn for their ship to come in. But the remarkable reality, for those who have placed their confidence in Jesus, is that the ship already has come in. We have everything we need for living the Christian life!

    A Regular Checkup
    22 Corinthians 13:5-10

Our Lives are like a bicycle wheel. All that we are (the spokes), need to be connected to Jesus in the center  (the hub), and to the church (the rim). Regular checkups are needed in our lives in order to assess whether or not we are in proper alignment with God and his purposes. Prayer Becomes a means for examining our current situation and learning about the next steps we need to take. "Jan 28, 2018 1".

    “Urgent Requests”
    Romans 15:30-33

There are occasions in our lives when we feel urgent needs. Sometimes, we don't know where to turn or what to do. But no matter what circumstances we are faced with , prayer is always a critical response to trouble. And as we become more sensitive to the urgent needs in the lives of those around us, prayer for them becomes an expression of sacrifice and love.

    “Right Alongside”
    Romans 8:18-28
We often live like the bear who climbed the mountain to see what he could see. As it turned out, all he could see was the other side of the mountain...Not only did the bear have limited vision; we do as well. When we climb the mountain of our lives, and look out to the far horizon, all we often see is just more of the same-the frustration, the pain, the sorrow, the challenges and the problems. And when that is all we can see, we find ourselves living on the mountain of despair...Paul offers us hope and a new vision for our lives, one that is implanted in and around us by the Holy Spirit.

    Delivering God’s Gift
Romans 1:8-15  As Christians, we are called to invest ourselves in the lives of others. Jesus said, "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13) Prayer becomes a means for expanding our reach and making significant contributions. Paul teaches us how prayer empowers and direct us to project good into other people's lives."1-7-18 1".

Luke 19:1-10  Jesus declared that he came to "seek and save what was lost". The message is aimed at us... We're the ones who are lost! Yet, when Jesus finds us and enters our lives, we move from lostness to newness. He is the only one who can help us find our way in a dark and confusing world.".
